What a great husband I have!

Since I really haven't been feeling the best lately. Josh has really stepped in to take care of me. He has a ton of patience. I am so very grateful that I have him. :):)

3 years and counting~

Well tomorrow is July 13th. Three years ago on the 13th we arrived in Douglas, AZ. I can still remember the drive into and through town looking for the college. WOW. That's all I can say. The Lord provided us with food and shelter. He provided me with a job. It still warms my heart that God didn't just send us here to fend for ourselves. He has been with us every step of the way. Rattlesnakes, bugs and everything else. We came here not knowing anyone, and lived in a extremely small dorm room. Today, we have a surrogate family, the Chambers, who love us and we love dearly, and live in a beautiful home ON A RANCH. God is so very good to us. So every year on July 13th we go to McDonalds and have a Big Mac. That was the first place we could find to get something to eat when we unpacked the trailer.

Fun with pregnancy

Last night at 1am I woke up sweltering. (we have been using our swamp cooler, instead of the air conditioner) Well since it has been so humid I thought maybe I should shut it off close the windows (you have to leave them open a bit for the cooler to work) and turn on the air. So as I was stumbling around I knocked a bunch of stuff over. Waking my wonderful husband out of his peaceful slumber. He came out and kindly asked me what I was doing. I explained my need for the air conditioning to be on. He sweetly finished closing things up and turn on the air and then went back to bed.
I decided that since I was up and very hungry to heat up a hot dog and eat it. It was wonderful. Ketchup oozing out of the bread. Mustard adding just the right amount of tang. After my delightful snack and cooler air pumping off to bed and yet another trip to the bathroom, I happily trotted of to bed. My husband who almost fallen back to sleep had to reposition himself to avoid the dreaded "hot dog breath".
Pray for him. I doubt this was the last time.

MI pt 2

Josh's grandma.

Kara and I finally got to meet up with our friend Kristie who we haven't seen in YEARS. We had a great time!

The Wilson ladies big day out. My mom and sister surprised me by buying me some maternity clothes. I cried pretty much the whole time I was so touched.
I will post more pictures soon. The Internet is really slow right now! If you are on facebook I have a bunch there as well.
Its really nice to be home. We were so encouraged by seeing so many friends and family. I wish sometime I could be in two places at once. There were some people we didn't get a chance to see.
As it was I slept for 11 hours when we got home and took two naps the next day. I was exhausted!

Michigan

One of the reasons we headed to MI was because Josh parents, John and Sandy, were celebrating their 35 years of wedded bliss with a renewel ceromony and reception. This is a picture of the day before when we were decorating. John is smiling that is rare in a picture. :)

My pal Kara and I had a wonderful time at the beach. So wonderful that I didn't put on sunscreen. She even said something about it to me. I scoffed and said, "I am from AZ." Sigh. I think I have learned my lesson. Talk about the worst burn of my life!

Mom and Dad. I think they are really cute here. We spent Fathers day with my folks and my sister. It was great.

Barb and I in our matching Cochise gear. She has her eyes closed imagining that she is in Az with us. AWWWWW
